Elsevier is an academic scholarly publisher that is struggling with creating easier ways to access journals. Librarians were interviewed to input their views on how to make it easier, they stated it would be to costly to produce a hard copy and that an internet copy would be much more sufficient. Some professors have began to boycott for tax payers to be able to access it freely.
The New England Journal is an medical journal of past and present. It is known for being very accurate and giving precise information that you are asking for. It is free for tax payers and they are able to access it any time for free of charge.
The Changing Nature of Knowledge is about how knowledge as grown over time, from paper to books to now the internet. The internet is the basis of how the earth is run and allows the public to access it any time and we are about to pretty much find out anything about anyone or anything through the internet. The internet will only advance from this day forward!
The common thread throughout these articles is about the public can view these different things they are speaking about in each of the articles suck has journals, book, and the internet. I am very grateful for all of these tools. I use the internet on a daily basis and  i don't know what i would do without it. I use scholarly journals for my college classes when i am writing an academic paper or need source for my research.
