Plagiarism, Paraphrasing correctly, Copyright, Open content, Open access, and Licenses all have to do with library research because all of these are tools to help you research and cite correctly without getting in trouble with your professor or in severe cases the law. By doing any of these incorrectly it could result it a failing grade to expulsion for the University. The knowledge of each of these topics can help in any classes where a research assignment is assigned. It is crucial to follow all the rules and guidelines to properly cite a source when using it for any kind of research assignment in college or even in the work place. There are a very different set of rules for each of these topics/tools so it is very important everyone knows about each of these. Licenses and Copyright can get a bit confusing so if you don't know exactly what your doing with no question then you need to either look on the internet for the specific rules or omit the video, photo, or quote from your work.

Knowing about all of the rules and regulation of plagarism and such are very helpful to consider when doing library research. Lack of knowledge can lead to bad consequences. It is very important that people pay close attention to how these violation can occur to prevent them. Asking questions about the gray area or confusion of plagarism and copyright is very important and can help avoid major problems.
